What is a virtual learning environment?
A virtual learning environment or EVA is an educational space in the cloud. It houses a set of tools designed to facilitate learning and didactic interaction similar to those that would occur in the physical space of the educational institution.
Said space is designed so that students and teachers can interact remotely and carry out all their tasks without having to share the same spatial context, that is, without being present in the traditional physical classroom. Therefore, it is a tool that seeks to imitate the reality of the classroom in a virtual way.
These spaces can allow for fully distance training (e-learning), serve as support for face-to-face training (blended learning) or function as supports in hybrid classrooms.
Benefits of virtual learning environments for students and teachers

For students, a VLE allows them to benefit from self-paced learning
The opportunity to learn new skills without having to travel or arrange childcare while they attend courses.
They will also get a real sense of achievement; with Virtual College courses
there is always a certificate to download and print at the end as a record of this achievement.
